Course abstract
The main goal of the study subject is to stimulate the development of Master students' competence in business communication under global; isation, encouraging Master students self cognition in creative intercultural dialogue and developing holistic perception of reality in the process of interaction. The offered topics can serve as a practical basis to create effective partnership in global society.
Learning outcomes and their assessment
• Knowledge – cognition of partnership types, cross-cultural differences, types of business style in business communication and correspondence, cognition of presentations preparation principles and stages, presentation preparation using PowerPoint.
• Skills – students are able to apply the knowledge and communicative skills, including reading, speaking, listening and writing skills, in their professional activities, participating in discussions, creating dialogues, making presentations. Students are able to find necessary information in a foreign language, structure, classify, analyse and synthesise it. • Competence – students have improved the competence of professional and academic foreign language in order to apply a foreign language creatively in for professional activities, student mobility and in academic environment.
