Course abstract

The aim of the study course is to acquire with structure, equipment, technologies, electric energy and heat energy supply sources and grids, process automatization level, personnel management and marketing in enterprise providing practice. Aim of practice is to acquire skills in analyzing of technical and economical level, technical background, production process organization and management of enterprise.

Learning outcomes and their assessment

Knowledge - the construction of electrical and thermal equipment for agricultural and industrial enterprises, the operational principles, the specific nature of maintenance and assembly work.
Skills - to perform the main assembly and servicing works of energy equipment.

Competence - selection of the type of wiring and heat networks, their basic assembly technologies, the choice of the consumer's energy equipment, the basic technologies for their assembly and servicing.

Full time intramural studies:
1. Get familiar with the structure of the practice enterprise , its technically-economic characteristics. 16h
2. Get familiar with the technology and technological equipment used in the company, their characteristics. 32h
3. Explore the supply of an enterprise with electricity, heat: sources, suppliers, tariffs, power supply networks. 40h
4. Explore the organization and management of the company's energy services. Performance of management operations. 60h
5. Explore the company's administration system, production process organization and management. 60h
6. Explore the principles and methods of personnel management and marketing. 40h
7. Perform an analysis of the management of the company. 40h
8. Develop a practice report. 40h

All topics specified for full time studies are accomplished

Requirements for awarding credit points

The practice must be fully worked.
Practice report must be written and defended.
A rating with a mark.

Description of the organization and tasks of students’ independent work

Developing a practice report in accordance to the practice programme.

Criteria for Evaluating Learning Outcomes

The practice report must comply with the requirements of the practice programme in terms of content and volume.
The assessment shall be determined by the quality and volume of the content and presentation of the practice report, as well as the acquired knowledge and capacity of the student shown during the defence.
The rating may be influenced by the practice company's feedback on the trainee.
