The aim of the course is to introduce students with basic principles of agricultural building designing. Students learn kinds of building and classification, fire- prevention measures, choise of production zone site and general plan design. Students are introduced with most characteristic building construction schemes, agricultural technologies, regulations, building planning
Knowledge- Basics of designing of Agricultural structures. Development of technological processes. Details of building and structures.
Skills –Developing of structural drawings. Using structural terms. Providing fire protection norms and demands.Developing necessary design documentation for draft or technical project Be competent in tender of building material, comperability and expenses. To have the good knowledges in properties of building materiāls. To know the fundamental demands to structures. Be competent in tender of building material, comperability and expenses. Competence - to be able develop arhitecture part of designs of structures.
Lectures:
1. Basic principles of agricultural building design (1h)
2. Cattle farms. Classification of cattle, types of keeping, functional elements of premises (1h)
3. Spatial planning of cattle houses. Structural solutions for buildings (1h)
4. Pig farms. Classification of pigs, types of keeping, functional elements of premises (1h)
5. Spatial planning of pig houses. Structural solutions for buildings. (1h)
6. Sanitary equipment of livestock farms. Manure storage. ŪK, AV (1h)
7. General plans of livestock farms (1h)
8. Structural schemes of buildings. Foundations: column, strip, piles (1h)
Laboratory works:
1. Getting acquainted with the normative literature of industrial building design. Test (2h)
2. Sketches of architectural drawings of cattle farms. Test (2h)
3. Sketches of architectural drawings of pig farms. Test (2h)
4. Architectural section sketches of livestock housing. Test (2h)
Student have to get a test in 4 tests, then get a test in the study course
The study course does not provide for individual independent work. Independent studies are related to preparation for tests.
Preparation for test performance:
Test 1: Different questions about the first 3 lectures, in which both textual and sketching are to be answered.
Test 2: Various questions about lectures 4-5, in which both textual and sketching are to be answered.
Test 3: Various questions about lecture 6, where both textual and sketching are to be answered
