Course abstract

A study course achieve knowledge and skills on the concept of upbringing, its content, principles, regularities and mainspring; organizing forms of upbringing; well-known studies of upbringing. Students develop understanding on upbringing methods and form; correlation among upbringing, learning and personality’ development; social and biological factors of upbringing; self-education. Skills how to solve pedagogical problem situations and how to work out plan of classroom management. Knowledge and skills are securing in discussions, teams, individual works, tests to defence independent works.

Learning outcomes and their assessment

• Knowledge - on well-known studies of upbringing and preconditions of holistic development of personality. Have understanding on concept of upbringing, its principles, methods and forms accordingly with individualities of age period, social and biological factors of upbringing as well as attitudes like a fundamental component of upbringing. Have a needful knowledge on using level how to solve pedagogical problems in the school environment.
• Skills - to choose tools of upbringing (content, methods, forms etc.); to set a target and to plan achieve goal accordingly with notice of pedagogical rules; to find positive solve of the upbringing problems;.
• Competence - to be able to work out plan of classroom management and to organize upbringing conformity with setting goals; ability to descry and to solve problems of upbringing without assistance..
