Course abstract

The law of labour protection and related regulations, their applications in national economy, labour contract, collective agreement. Students learn assess risks of labour environment, internal monitoring and control of labour environment, planning and financing of labour protection measures for receive certificate labour protection and safety.

Learning outcomes and their assessment

Knowledge and critical understanding of the application of labour protection laws in economic sectors; (test)
Skills to set up a job protection system, perform employee briefings at the workplace and train employees for safe working methods; (practical works)
Competence to use knowledge to obtain a vocational training certificate for the protection and safety of work. (seminar)

Course Content(Calendar)

1. System of regulatory documents for the protection of work in the State. 2. System of regulatory documents for the protection of work in an undertaking. 3. Drawing up and drawing up regulatory documents. 4. Mandatory health checks. Labour law. 5. Training system for job protection, documenting it. 6. Job protection instructions. 7. Justification and selection of personal protective equipment. 8. Identification of risks to the working environment. 9. Assessment of risks to the working environment, assessment methods. 10. Identification of risks for machines. 11. Simulated accident investigation. 12. Internal monitoring and control of the working environment. 1.3 Documentation of the measures taken to protect work. 14. Prevention of hazardous and harmful factors. 15. Planning of measures to be taken to protect work. 16. Financing of a plan of measures to be taken in the field of labour protection.

Requirements for awarding credit points

Type of test - marking. In order to settle the set-off, the student needs to develop his own-initiative work, take part in the workshop lessons and get a rating of not less than 5.0 balls. All independent works must be credited.

Description of the organization and tasks of students’ independent work

1.Own-initiative work. Summary of safety data sheet information for a hazardous chemical, drawing up a set of personal protective equipment (at least page 2, submitted by electronic means). 2. Own-initiative work. Assessment of the risks of the working environment in a defined situation (presentation size of at least 10 slides, submitted by electronic means.) 3. Own-initiative work. Development of a job protection instruction in a defined profession (at least page 5, submitted by electronic means).

Criteria for Evaluating Learning Outcomes

The assessment of a study course shall be based on the cumulative assessment of own-initiative works. Students who have their own grades in this study course at least 7, the countdown rating shall be calculated as the arithmetic mean of the markings of the solo works in the course.
