Course abstract
The study course deals with the information acquisition, processing and distribution methods, the types of data storage devices, data input and output techniques and tools, the use of the integrated application software packages in document, spreadsheet and presentation processing. The possibilities of software’s usage are extended by recording, testing and editing of macroses as well as by using programming in Visual Basic for Applications, different control elements, structures and dialog boxes.
Learning outcomes and their assessment
Knowledge about the information acquisition, processing and distribution techniques, on the using methods of integrated application software packages and language Visual Basic for Applications (VBA); skills in the use of data storage, input and output devices, various software applications and macros, competence, working in group or independently, to use the information technology facilities for the text, spreadsheet and presentation material processing and to manage them, as well as to convince others and argue own viewpoint.
