The aim of the study course is to deal with the main transportation types, it's technical - economic and operation features; to explain coordination of these transportation modes and methodology of rational selection of transport mode.
Knowledge. Understand transportation process and transport concept, the transport system, its components, the main modes of transport, its technical and economic characteristics, advantages and disadvantages, as well as on different forms of cooperation of between the individual modes of transport – tests 1-7.
Skills. Able to analyze, compare and evaluate the suitability of individual modes of transport and their combinations for different cargo transportation, as well as for passenger mobility – practical works.
Competences. Able to choose the most appropriate mode of transport or a combination for transportation of selected cargo or passenger transport – practical works.

Successfully written all the tests and practical works. Type of test – accumulative test.

The assessment of the study course is based on the average arithmetic result of all the written tests during the semester.
