Course abstract

Assessment of peculiarities of adult education. Value of life and health. Promotion of wellness. Teaching/learning process in organizations and its assessment. Assessment of IT usage experience. Assessment of study materials, instructions and they’re composing experience. Work psychology. Psychosocial work and training environment. Work analysis. Psychosomatics. Burnout at work. Assessment of study quality. Assessment of civil protection teaching/learning quality in organization.

Learning outcomes and their assessment

• knowledge: understand and able to explain the labour and civil protection teaching methods and work psychology, pillars of education of 21st century and wellness development - .Test 1, 2.
• skills: able to plan, organize and run workshops and instructions on work safety, work out methodology, decrease formation of formal attitude towards work and civil protection - Workshops, seminars.
• competence: able to evaluate teaching/learning quality and develop it; assess impact of psycho-emotional factors on work safety; choose non-formal and informal kinds of education for development of one’s knowledge, skills and competence - Independent homework.

Course Content(Calendar)

1 Evaluation of the use of pedagogical and work psychology knowledge in instruction and preparation of study materials.
2 Evaluation of safe, healthy and sustainable work and well-being at work. Understanding the concept of well-being in practice.
3 Seminar: Assessment of the impact of psycho-emotional risk factors. Evaluation of attitudes towards normative materials.
4 Assessment of teaching methods and use of information technologies; assessment of teaching methodological materials.
5 Psychology of work. Personality and work. Work analysis: process; staff; context; working hours (micro, mezo, exo).
6 Small group work: instructions and presentations, their evaluation.
7 Examination. Evaluation of course studies and suggestions for further improvement.

Requirements for awarding credit points

Oral exam or cumulative assessment of semester work.
The cumulative assessment of the semester work consists of:
1. Attendance of contact lessons.
2. Participation in seminars and workshops during the lessons, which will be evaluated by the "pass / fail".
3. Passed 2 tests, what will be evaluated in the 10-balls system.
4. Prepared, presented and defended independent homework, which is evaluated with a grade of 10 grade system.

Description of the organization and tasks of students’ independent work

Independently prepared and defended theory review - presentation on pedagogical-psychological aspects of labour protection training.

Criteria for Evaluating Learning Outcomes

The exam will be evaluated in the 10-balls system.

Evaluation Criteria:
1. Understanding pedagogical-psychological aspects of labour protection training.
2. Ability to discuss and argue your point of view.
3. Presentation skills.
4. The skills of the self-organization of work - inclusion in deadlines.
