Development, aims, objectives and the basic principles of inclusive education in Latvian and European context;
Different attention and mental disorders and their educational and communicational specifics;
Sensory defects, physical disabilities and special features that should be considered in educational process;
Minorities and individuals with congenital or acquired diseases integration into the educational system.
• Knowledge: to understand the specificity of mental disorders (Down's syndrome, Autism, Asperger's syndrome, etc.) and attention disorder (ADD , ADHD , OCD , etc.);
Theoretical understanding of specifics of congenital and acquired diseases as well as the language system disorders.
• Skills: to be able to distinguish and identify theoretically acquired diagnoses and disorders in practice, also to recognize and adapt to each individual characteristics;
To be able to use inclusive pedagogical methods;
• Competence: to develop personal empathy with children and young people who are in need of inclusive education ;
To be able to co-operate with representatives of the minorities;
