Familiarity with the use of wood processing tools and machine machines in different manufacturing technological processes. Familiarity with the construction of the most widely used wood processing cutting instruments. Familiarity with the construction of wood processing machines and their verification methods.
Knowledge of the construction and operation of wood processing machines and instruments – tour companies, laboratory work, advocacy of practice review.
Skills to perform technical calculations of working machines and choose suitable tools for carrying out specific tasks – discussion lessons, independent work, advocacy of study work.
Competence to evaluate the position of workshops and instruments in the enterprise and justify it – tour companies, laboratory work, advocacy of practice review.
1. Introductory instruction. Practice tasks and organization (5 h).
2. Familiarity with cutting tools for restoration technologies (5 h).
3. Familiarity with the technological processes of machine production (5 h).
4. Familiarity with different woodworking technological processes (15 h).
5. Familiarity with the construction of wood processing machines and their verification methods (20 h).
6. Familiarity with wood processing instrument structures. Determination of their quality and parameters (20 h).
7. Submission and advocacy of the practice report (10 h).
Laboratory work and practice report should be developed and defended according to the task.
Students shall independently conduct a review of the practice of visited undertakings in accordance with the practice task according to the design rules.
Students in the laboratory of the Department of Wood Processing shall take measurements under the management of the director of practice according to laboratory work tasks, and perform the calculations and presentation of laboratory work according to the design rules.
Study work assessment consists of a review of practices according to task (30%), advocacy of practice review (30%) and performance of laboratory work according to task and answers to questions (40%).
