Course abstract

In the 3rd semester of the master's thesis, the work on the performance of experimental works related to the chosen topic of the master's thesis will continue, which will end in the 4th semester. Work on the examination, extraction and analysis of information sources continues equally.

Learning outcomes and their assessment

Within the framework of the master's thesis, students acquire in-depth knowledge in performing experimental work. Strengthen skills to perform theoretical and practical experiments, to interpret the obtained empirical data. At the end of this section, the competence to conduct research without the direct supervision of the supervisor is acquired. Knowledge, skills and competence are assessed orally in discussions with the supervisor.

Time for this course is devoted to independent work.
1 Experimenting - Continued (100 hours)
2 Experimental data processing (50 hours)
3 Updating and summarizing previous research (50 hours)

Requirements for awarding credit points

Execution of individual study plan. Studies are individual. Type of fulfilled requirements: positive test result.

Description of the organization and tasks of students’ independent work

Each week, during the meeting, the supervisor discusses the tasks independently and fulfilled tasks, plan for the next reporting period. At the end of the study course, present the achievements for the whole reporting period.

Criteria for Evaluating Learning Outcomes

Positive pass of this study course consists of:
1.Written master's thesis 90%.
2.Discussions and answers to the questions of supervisor 10%.
