The aim of the study course is to acquire with flexible automation, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), their use, structure, programming, connection to the controlled object. Programming languages are acquired: ladder diagrams, structured text, block diagrams, creation of familiar control algorithms. PLC connection diagrams, input and output signals, sensors and actuators, PLC control visualization, PLC via GSM and LAN were studied.
Knowledge - Origin, structure, usage and programming of programmable logic controllers, connection to the controlled object - laboratory works;
Skills - to use PLC, program it and connect it, use automatic control circuits and algorithms - laboratory work;
Competence - ability to choose PLC, create automatic control schemes using PLC - laboratory works, test.
