Course abstract

Students learn the basic principles of scientific work development, research modeling and basic organizational conditions, mathematical data processing. Gets acquainted with summarizing the results of research work in a publication, forming a discussion, interpreting the results and types of presentation.

Learning outcomes and their assessment

1. Is able to understand the course and significance of the process of development of land management and surveying scientific work - test
2. Is able to independently obtain research data and apply research methods for data analysis and interpretation in land management and surveying - test
3. Knows how to summarize the research in a publication and prepare a presentation for presenting the results in land management and land surveying - test

Part-time studies:

All topics specified for full-time studies are implemented, but the number of contact hours is 1/2 of the specified number of hours

Requirements for awarding credit points

A test with a mark consists of:
• written test paper on the theoretical material acquired in the study course

Description of the organization and tasks of students’ independent work

For the acquisition of professional competencies of the study course necessary studies of scientific and study literature, application of research methods in obtaining and processing data of the selected research.

Criteria for Evaluating Learning Outcomes

The test is obtained after the knowledge test in the written test at the end of the study course.
