Course abstract

The aim of the internship is to provide the student with practical work skills in the field of land cadastral surveying. To learn the latest methods, to get acquainted with the organization and planning of production, preparation of documents to complete the cadastral survey of land.

Learning outcomes and their assessment

1. Knows the sequence of cadastral survey of land, as it is performed - Activities in professional practice
2. Is able to use the acquired theoretical knowledge in practice, guided by the given task in specific terrain conditions, to work carefully and accurately both independently and in a team, to draw up measurement documents in accordance with regulatory documents - Activities in professional practice
3. Is able to independently obtain, select and analyse information necessary for the performance of work in practice, use it, make decisions in accordance with their competence and solve problems related to the work to be performed, understand professional ethics, be able to assess the impact of their professional activities on the environment and society - Activities in professional practice
4. Is able to critically evaluate one's knowledge and skills and understand the need for further education, to be responsible for the quality of one's work - Activities in professional practice
5. Is able to compile and draw up a land cadastral survey file on the activities performed - Activities in professional practice

Course Content(Calendar)

Full-time studies:
1. Getting acquainted with the company's structure, areas of activity, occupational safety and organizational requirements
2. Organization of land cadastral survey works in the company
3. Acceptance of the initiator's application, request of archive documents to the State Land Service
4. Invitation of the initiator and border guards to the harmonization of borders
5. Border feasibility study, survey, renewal. Delimitation of the area. Survey of situational elements in the area
6. Elimination of border non-compliance issues
7. Processing of the obtained measurement data, preparation of the measurement outline
8. Preparation of land boundary plan, situation plan, encumbrance plan
9. Chamber redrawing of plans
10. Preparation and submission of land cadastral survey documents to the State Land Service
11. Preparation of practice report

Part-time studies:

All topics specified for full-time studies are implemented, but the number of contact hours is 1/2 of the specified number of hours

Requirements for awarding credit points

The assessment of professional practice consists of:
• Practice Report
• Feedback from the company's practice manager
• Presentation in defense of practice

Description of the organization and tasks of students’ independent work

Students practice independently draw up a report, which should describe the place of practice, provide information on the progress made during the practice and presentation practice defense.

Criteria for Evaluating Learning Outcomes

The student receives an assessment “Test with a mark” for the prepared practice report in accordance with the Methodological Instructions, for the content of the practice report, for the presentation to defend the practice and answers to questions about the work done during the practice. The reference of the Head of the Company's practice regarding the trainee's attitude towards the imposed obligations is also taken into account.
