Course abstract

Goal of the course is to teach about labour work organization methods, technological maps of work sequence, labour-consuming characters and construction site layouts. Also this course provide knowledge at rational material and technical resource planning, optimal selection of devices and mechanisms for the main construction works, warehousing, temporary buildings and roads, energy solutions (services), appropriate building technology choices based on technical and economic calculations of rational construction machinery.

Learning outcomes and their assessment

Knowledge and understanding of construction legislation, building regulations; construction work processes, engineering, planning, organizing and managing construction works on site. Exam.
• Skills to develop a construction project (calendar of construction works, master plan of construction works, technological scheme of construction works and quality assurance plan). Exam.
• Competence - the ability to develop a project for planning and conducting construction work. Ability to observe construction technology compliant work technology, prepare and execute executive documentation, as well as determine labor protection measures. Ability to monitor the construction process, to perform the technical and quality control of the completed work, to keep track of the completed works, to check the covered works, to control the execution documentation. Exam.
