Course project examines forest machine choice and principled mechanism for load calculations. The acquired knowledge allows you to select the forest machines and calculations forest machinery.
After studying the course the student will have:
• Knowledge of the calculation of the loads of machines used in logging.(course project)
• Skills for visual and technical assessment of forest techniques, aggregating capabilities,(course project) • Competencies - responsible for advising forest workers on the feasibility and calculation of logging machines in the specific development of felling areas.(course project)
1. Selection of felling-felling machines, depending on the conditions of logging.
2. Selection of rolling-tracking machines, depending on the logging conditions.
3. Calculation of productivity for machinery used in the forest.
4. Determination of critical indicators for stability of logging machines.
5. Calculation of force moments by aggregating the transport unit with a hydromanipulator.
6. Calculation of forest trailer loads.
7. Calculation of the force of Vilz in forest works.
8. Calculation of static loads of the timber lifting mechanism.
9. Assessment of dynamic loads by manipulating round timber.
10. selection of ropes, endurance rating to tensile.
11. Assessment of the resistance of the metal rod to the compressive in the forest works.
12. Resistance to spinning and bending, calculation of the gearing vertebrae.
13. Repair of different components of forest equipment: uninterruptible compounds.
14. Repair of different components of forest equipment: connections to be dismantled.
15. Selecting screws and locks.
16. Design and submit a Course
The course project must be designed in full and evaluated with a note.
Literature studies. Preparation of the course project according to the methodological instructions.
Subject spotlight; assessment of achievement of purpose and tasks; implementation of the methods applied; structure and presentation of work; literature used and sources of information; presentation skills. In defending work, the student answers questions about the developed course project and the subject studied. As a result, the course project supervisor shall evaluate the developed
