Course abstract

Student will get theoretical and practical knowledge acquire this course of studies in rural consumers and network load daily graphs, in transient processes in power supply systems and calculation of fault current, in power supply network configuration, point of transformer fixation and selection, selection of reactive power compensation method, in the quality of the voltage.

Learning outcomes and their assessment

The student will be studying at the rate:
• Knowledge about the electricity supply system of agricultural structure, the conformation and the elements.
• Skills to calculate the electricity supply system of the elements required parameters (run cross-sections, fuses, circuit breakers and automatic switch rated current) and establish location the point of transformer.
• Competence to assess the situation of agricultural electricity network, the network elements of the technical condition and use of electricity loss reduction methods.
