Course abstract
Optional study course "Physiology of the Sensory System" gives the opportunity for students to improve their knowledge about the structure and function of the sensory system (or analyzer), to understand the visual, auditory, olfactory, as well as sense of pain, temperature, balance, and another off senses, the analysis of the obtained information, forming of sense and the effects of correlation. This study course is necessary for the further studies of the ophthalmology, neuroscience and dentistry.
Learning outcomes and their assessment
After completing the course student will have: to deepen the knowledge about the activities of the various sensory organs: obtaining of this information, analysis of information and forming of the senses; skills to assess the individual causes of the senses, results and possible implications; competence to be able to apply the knowledge to improve their own professional skills.
