Course abstract
The main aim of the course is to acquire constructions and operation principles of ground motor vehicles. Gets knowledge about mechanisms and systems of internal combustion engines. Acquires mechanical and electronical regulation of mechanisms and systems of the engine. To be able to work independently and to understand engineering technical solutions of ground motor vehicle constructions. Acquires practical construction and operation of transmission, movement and control equipment of ground motor vehicles.
Learning outcomes and their assessment
• Knowledge - in individualities of constructions of ground motor vehicles and operation principles of their elements.
• Skills - acquired knowledge gives possibilities to assess technical condition of engine and ground motor vehicles, acquired knowledge give possibilities to assess technical condition of transmission, suspension of automobiles, steering and brake systems. • Competence - acquired knowledge gives possibility to analyse engineering solutions of ground motor vehicles.
