Course abstract
The aim of the course is to deepen students' understanding on nongovernmental sector as an instrument of civil society. During the course the students are introduced with analysis of nongovernmental organizations` nature, role in the society and main principles of their action in relation with topical social problems and research directions.
Learning outcomes and their assessment
Master students acquire knowledge on history of nongovernmental organizations, spheres and principles of their action; develop skills to use sociological tools for analysing the nongovernmental organization. Students develop professional competence in evaluating of nongovernmental organization.
