| Course abstract | |
| The students acquire self-cognition and self-understanding, structure of a personality , possibilities of the development of the personality, group-work skills, kinds of groups, solving of conflicts. Students develop their insight into carreer development in accordance with the peculiarities of a personality, in adult education, in protection of psychical health psychological situation in the Latvian. | |
| Learning outcomes and their assessment | |
| • Knowledge – knows the main current psychological tendencies and facts, problem situation solution strategies, mechanisms of self-regulation, basics of leadership and management, aim realization consistent parts and indicators which prove the aim reach, adult education possibilities.
• Skills – can apply theoretical issues into practice, self-regulation mechanisms to stabilize one’s psychological health, acknowledges one’s resources in reaching one’s aim, assists adult education, takes leader’s role if it is necessary. • Competence – can critically assess psychological literature available and choose sources for one’s bachelor paper; able to choose appropriate strategy to support psychological health, can develop the plan to achieve one’s aim and to realize it, can create relationships with other people emphatically. |
