| Course abstract | |
| Basic techniques and technological methods of weaving, making of textile accordingly composition and chosen technologies and/or materials are learned in this study course. Themes in study course program are related with weaving technologies of fade bands, plaited belts and ribbons, techniques of shuttle, carpet and tapestry started with choice and preparation of weaving material, preparatory works for weaving till working out and finishing of textile. The gained cognitions in study course strengthen comprehension and promote to use creatively gained knowledge of weaving art. | |
| Learning outcomes and their assessment | |
| After completing the course student will have:
• knowledge and comprehension about basic techniques and technological methods of weaving and running of technological process, facilities of textile making; substance, structure and many-sidedness of field of weaving art. • skills: to analyze, compare and evaluate methods of weaving technology and running of technological process, working without assistance, creative and free using of different technologies of weaving and materials. To get experience of self-expression and creativeness, to recognize own interests and abilities to saw how to use acquired experience in mode of life. • competence: is able to recognize, use, choose and compare weaving technologies, to produce textile without assistance; to comprehend, evaluate, explain and realize creatively content of weaving education in pedagogic act. To organize Home Economics and Technologies lessons in basic education in the frames of themes Textiles and Technologies. |
