Course abstract | |
Social pedagogy, it’s beginnings and development in different times and countries. Socialization as a problem of social pedagogy. Important social problems in our society, their solutions. Work with family and youth. The role of social teacher in school, especially in vocational school, work with different groups of social risk. Legislation and normative statements. | |
Learning outcomes and their assessment | |
After completing the course student will have:
• knowledge - understanding of vocational education and social pedagogy, its importance in vocational education. Knowledge about social problems in school, ability to gather information, recognize and to tackle a problem, to integrate urgent social questions in education lessons. • skills - ability to analyze and to solve situations and questions of social risk in different social groups, to choose best methods. To know how integrate social questions in education lessons, communicate with different groups and appear before an audience. • competence - collaboration with learners, parents and colleagues. Work in a team. Objective appraisal of situation and problem solving. Using of knowledge and skills of pedagogic work without assistance. |
