| Course abstract | |
| Study course aim is to provide students with the knowledge of environmentally friendly, economically profitable and socially acceptable forest management in all types of forests. In lectures are explained the theoretical knowledge, in laboratory works students are studying different forest management methods and models, but in course project they create a real forest management plan. | |
| Learning outcomes and their assessment | |
| Students require knowledge, skills and reflection abilities including the aspects of: forest management planning in space and time, finance flow, valuation of ecological, economical and social goods and services, forest multiple use management, aspects of economical optimisation, SWOT. The student knows how to define forest management goal and objectives, he can independently develop forest management plan. | |
