Course abstract
The goal of study subject is to give a body of acquirements of theoretical cognitions in establishment of cargo storehouses of agricultural and other sectors, special attention converting for determination of optimal quantity of storing materials. To acquire knowledge about forms of storehouses, its’ areas, calculations of available lifting-transporting systems.
Learning outcomes and their assessment
- knowledge in agricultural materials classification, storage types, the organization of warehouses and warehouse design economic justification in warehouses,
- skills in warehouse process management and work organization; - acquired knowledge and skills enabling to understand the organization of warehousing, storage of various materials characteristics and storage location reasons.

Criteria for Evaluating Learning Outcomes
The assessment of the study course depends on the practical work and the cumulative assessment of the study course. A student can obtain a successful grade test if at least 50% of the test questions are answered correctly.
