Course abstract
The aim of the study course is to acquire basic knowledge about the technical condition of machines and the regularities of their wear. Skills and ability are acquired in the application of machine-based prophylactic technical maintenance system, in the planning, organization and creation of material and technical base of machine maintenance works.
Learning outcomes and their assessment
Knowledge: about the organization and management of planned-preventive maintenance of machines and equipment involved in the technological process of production. Knowledge of the technological design of the material and technical base necessary for the performance of machine maintenance work. Assessment - a test.
Skills: to use machine maintenance documentation and to perform practical machine maintenance. Ability to select and apply special tools, equipment and apparatus for this work. Assessment - test and laboratory work reports.
Competence: the acquired knowledge and skills can be used to make the most advantageous decision on the machine maintenance strategy and tactics in each specific situation, so that the machines can also be evaluated according to their technical service characteristics. The knowledge and skills acquired in the course will be assessed after the 3 tests and developed laboratory works and their reports.
