Course abstract
The aim of the bachelor's thesis is to show creativity and initiative in carrying out a demanding investigation or design project within a specific topic area. Student has to synthesise information from both within the total course and from external sources. Thesis will contain at least analytical, competational and experimental elements.
Learning outcomes and their assessment
Knowledge: basic principles of construction, operation, design, selection and operation of machines and mechanisms in the field of agricultural machinery or automobile.
Skills: to choose the most appropriate equipment and the most rational technological solutions, maintenance of optimal modes of machine operation, simple design of machine parts and assemblies in the field of use and maintenance of agricultural machinery or automobile.
Competencies: to evaluate the quality and technical-economic indicators of agricultural machinery or automobile.
Evaluated by the State Examination Commission.

2. Preparation of the justification of the goal and tasks - 16h.
3. Collection of materials related to the topic and preparation of analytical report of the literature - 50h.
4. Collection of materials related to the topic and preparation of analytical report of the literature - 50h.
5. Research of technical solution analogues - 60h.
6. Preparation of experimental research methodology - 40h.
7. Preparation of experimental research methodology - 40h.
8. Performing experimental research - 40h.
9. Compilation and analysis of experimental research materials - 60h.
10. Preparation of the draft part of the bachelor's thesis description - 60h.

Requirements for awarding credit points
Fully developed and successfully defended bachelor's thesis, assessment - mark.
Description of the organization and tasks of students’ independent work
Preparation for the development of the bachelor's thesis, using literature and consulting with the bachelor's thesis supervisor.
Criteria for Evaluating Learning Outcomes
The bachelor's thesis is evaluated by the State Examination Commission.
