Course abstract
By acquiring this study course students will be acquainted with basic elements of automation equipments, sensors for control of parameters (temperature, level, photo, position ,movement, humidity). Relays (types, construction ). Special relays (with time delay, magnetic starters), basic schemes of automation (for temperature, level, position and movement, light control),. schemes for electrical motors automatic control and equipments for automation.
Learning outcomes and their assessment
1) Knowledge - about the general principles of automation, their elaboration, action, control and application to solve the theoretical and practical tasks in field of automation control engineering, technological processes and to improve their operation quality;
2) skills - to choose automation complex and technologies, elements and components, to analyze their work process, algorithms, operations in static and dynamic modes, to compose optimal automatic systems, block diagrams, to evaluate quality of automation operation; 3) competence - to select an appropriate principles for automation of technologies, their elements, components and devices, methods for elaboration, action, control and application, principles of control, automatic devices and sensors, methods for identifying the parameters, principles of control for conformable technological object, to interpret the operation data about the automation of technological processes and to perfect their quality.
