Course abstract
During studies skills and knowledge of power supply systems operational requirements, energy supply system design and operation taking in account security requirements, as well as electricity supply and protection hardware maintenance will be acquired. Reactive power compensation equipment construction and operation, and project management for power supply systems and service will be studied as well.
Learning outcomes and their assessment
• Knowledge - about power system operation and its theoretical and practical issues;
• skills - proper choice of the energy mode of operation, components, and knowledge application for power system optimization; • expertise - selection and implementation of power supply system components, upgrading, optimization and operation of power supply systems.
