Course abstract
Doctoral program shall be acquired in accordance with the doctoral individual plan approved by the Council of the Faculty. The promotional work is formed following the development of research topic in global scale analyzing different sources of scientific literature. After the acceptance of scientific leader the consultations or lecture course are held by Latvian and foreign specialists according to the thesis in accordance with current requirements.
Learning outcomes and their assessment
Doctoral students acquire expertise on the latest findings in the doctoral research direction and possibilities of its use for a particular implementation of the thesis. Doctoral students develop skills in research methodology (study design, data collection and analysis, results interpretation and presentation). Following the course of learning doctoral students are competent to independently develop a doctoral thesis in accordance with current requirements.
