Course abstract
The course is devoted to mastering the skills for creating and editing of building design drawings. Understanding the AutoCAD interface. Modifying the AutoCAD environment. Use of coordinate systems. Creating and editing of objects. Editing methods: selecting objects, editing commands, object properties toolbar. Dimensioning. Three-dimensional model. Using rendering tools. Plotting, import/export, presentation of drawing..
Learning outcomes and their assessment
Knowledge and understanding of regularities of geometry needed for effective work in AutoCAD. Understanding of three main categories in AutoCAD: setting variables, commands, regimes. Skills: good for design of drawings in plane. Competences for effective choice of commands, regimes and setting variables in order to get perfect drawing using minimum of commands.
