Course abstract
The objective of subject is to give knowledge about properties of concrete, reinforcement, reinforced concrete and masonry. Calculations according to first and second group of limit states are discussed for different cross-sections and loading cases. Design principles of reinforced masonry structures are given.
Learning outcomes and their assessment
Knowledge about design of reinforced concrete and masonry of structures; skills to perform design of reinforced concrete and masonry structures; competence to define design problem of reinforced concrete and masonry structure, perform design and evaluate the acquired results.
