Course abstract
The course introduces students to the earth roadbed and surfacing of motor roads, water diversion system and motor road facilities, bridges and culverts, as well as construction and operation of motor roads.
Learning outcomes and their assessment
Knowledge: on the structure, applicable materials, construction and operation of motor roads and bridges. Skills: familiarity with particular structures of motor roads and their calculation principles. Competence: familiarity with technical projects of motor roads and the branches of road construction and operation. Examination.

5. Water diversion from road. Roadside ditches. Drainage.(1h)
6. Motor road surfacing. The classification and structure of surfacing.(1h)
