Course abstract | |
The course project develops skills in designing of roads in accordance with Latvian State Standards (LVS). Road plan, longitudinal profile and road cross-section profiles are designed. The AutoCAD program is used to work out the graphic part of the course project.
Learning outcomes and their assessment
• Knowledge: about roads, their technical design requirements and materials used for road construction - defense of the course project.
• Skills: to perform the technical designing of roads in accordance with the existing design norms; to make a good choice for environmentally friendly building materials and engineering structures - defense of the course project. • Competence: ability to analyze technical designs of roads and squares, their potential negative impact on the environment - defense of the course project. |
