The main objective of the course is to provide wide range of environmental engineering issues. Detailed insight in the concept of environmental science and tasks of sustainable development management is ensured as well as problems concerning soil, water management, water supply and sewerage system, air pollution and waste management are solved.
Knowledge in human and environment interaction, its interdependence and impacts. Skills to organize and provide scientific research work individually by using theoretical background within the selected field of environmental engineering study programme; abilities to interpret and discuss about the environment as an interdisciplinary scientific branch issue, to present and defend their results of research work in scientific conferences. Competence in proposing and providing detailed analysis on problems concerning environmental engineering issues in scientific research directions, to achieve tasks in the field of agriculture, civil engineering, water management and other national economic branches. Doctoral students not only comprehend rational use of resources, water and air protection and importance of biological diversity but also could be ready to implement these environmental maintenance and protection measures into particular projects.
