Study course associate theoretical and practical solutins of problems of environmental sanitation, notably in the provision of safe and ample public water supplies, the proper disposal of or recycle of wastewater and solid wastes and the control of water, soil and atmospheric pollution, and the social and environmental impact of these solutions. Students learn the possible technical solutions to engineering problems relating to public health, and technological development impact to the environment.
The course develops knowledge and understanding of the possible technical solutions for water, air and soil pollution control and prevention. Students will be able to prepare equipment and construction of water engineering projects, including the explanatory part and graphical material. Competence in environmental engineering issues listed in the course description, will provide an opportunity to make their own decisions and take action in the field of environment and water management, in their solutions balancing between economical, social and environmental aspects.
