Course abstract

Studies provides an understanding of organizational and management aspects of the contemporary socio-economic context of the requirements, as well as the possibility to use the theoretical knowledge into practice, promote professional competence and qualifications of the maintenance and improvement, involving in practical studies.

Learning outcomes and their assessment

Knowledge: to provide of public administration scientific foundations of professional masters program, after which students should be learning in a fully realized state, local authorities pārvaldību.
Skills: to improve the analytical ability to assess problems associated contexts, their compliance with existing legislation and to choose the solution to the problem of the theoretical basis To keep the public and institutional development in line with the international, the Latvian government and the public interest. Competence: the ability to promote the professional development of the exercise of professional functions of state and local government bodies and to engage in its current policy and its implementation on the ground development.
