Course abstract

Goal of study course os to acquaint reception, visitation and determination of defects of motor vehicles and farm machines. Photography of motor vehicle and its elements. Determination of value of motor vehicle. Accomplishment of technical expertise, what are connected with motor vehicles and its systems, aggregates, components and parts breakings, failures whose reasons are not road accident.

Learning outcomes and their assessment

Knowledge of determining the value and repair costs of land vehicles, the ability to determine the value of land vehicles and calculate the cost of repairs in the event of a road accident or other failure. The acquired knowledge allows to calculate the value of the damaged land vehicle individually and independently solve technical issues related to the renewal of vehicles.
Test 1 - Determination of the value of land vehicles.
Test 2 - Conditions for calculation of damaged land vehicle restoration.
Able to independently calculate vehicle renewal costs - laboratory works.

Requirements for awarding credit points

Written exam.
The exam assignment consists of:
• A test on the theoretical material acquired during the course.
• Practical task on the topics taught in the course of laboratory work.
Independent and laboratory work has been developed and defended.
Tests are successfully written.

Analysis of laboratory works.

Criteria for Evaluating Learning Outcomes

The exam grade is calculated as the arithmetic mean of the two exam assignments and the average semester grade, which is calculated as the average arithmetic of the grades of the tests performed in the study course.
