Course abstract

In this study course students acquire basics of technical maintenance of automobiles, conceptions and explanation of them, influence of several factors on technical condition of automobiles. Essential role in study course is dedicated to technical diagnostics of automobiles that is possible to acquire not only theoretically, but also practically during practical duties and laboratory actions with up-to-date technologies and equipment.

Learning outcomes and their assessment

Knowledges - to identify automobile assemblies, potentialities and methods of technical support; are acquaint with various automotive diagnostic techniques and materials used during maintenance.
Skills - can evaluate the automobile and technical condition of its units; to choose the most appropriate diagnostic techniques and necessary equipment and materials; ability to use various advanced automotive diagnostic equipment.
Competence - students are able to use acquired knowledge and skills in planning and organization of automobile technical service and selection of equipment and materials.
