Course abstract

Course of study to acquire knowledge of sewing technology: a sewing terminology, a sewing tools, sewing materials and for the quantitative determination of the cut, as sewing processing elements, the product's manufacturing process organization (sequence), a product typesetting unit forms of artistic costumes finish. Students made visual guidance illustrative materials: sewing processing components, products typesetting unit samples and finished products: trousers and blouse. Students practice in the manufactured product valuation.

Learning outcomes and their assessment

• Knowledge - understanding of the topics clothes sciences Home Economics and Technology teachers in primary education and household standard of the subject standard secondary education. Knowledge of: the sewing terminology of sewing tools, sewing materials and for the quantitative determination of the cutting, the sewing processing elements, the product's manufacturing process organization (sequence), the product typography types of units, the costume art finishing types.
• Skills - know how to make sewing processing elements, typography unit product samples and finished products: skirt or trousers, T- blouse or dress. Appreciate the manufactured products.
• Competence is able to safely and creatively use the sewing technology in Home Economics and Technology and Household curricular hours in general education and interest education.
