Course abstract

In the study programme „Food quality management” students can obtain theoretical and practical knowledge about principles of healthy nutrition needed housekeeping and household teacher; the program consists of two subjects - nutritional physiology and commodity sciences.

Learning outcomes and their assessment

Knowledge - an understanding of nutritional physiology and hygiene, food classification, storage conditions and quality. Skills - to explore, analyze and use information foods related information; spreadsheets and databases, to the extent necessary for the calculations. Competence - to calculate menu for schoolkids conforming to nutritional requirements and regulations.
