Course abstract

During the scientific-research training (5 weeks) Master`s students, according to the topic of Master`s thesis, study and master the skills and experience to carry out scientific research, in order to use independently the up-to-date methods of research. Also Master`s students coolect the data for Master`s thesis and carry out experimental research.

Learning outcomes and their assessment

Master students acquire and consolidate knowledge of the scientific research phases, from the choice of subject and ending with the presentation and defence. Develop skills to seek and process information, plan and carry out experiments interpret results, make recommendations. As a result master student acquires the competence to formulate independently and critically analyze complex scientific and professional problems. Knowledge skills and competencies for each master student are assessed by the preparation of the self-made summary of the work and the presentation prepared for the discussion

Each activity is scheduled for 1 week
1.Perform scheduled inspections
2.Collection and systematization of empirical data
3.Processing and analysis of research data
4.Examination of research hypotheses
5.Development of conclusions and proposals

Requirements for awarding credit points

1.Write and submit an independent work on the base of research done and information collected during the internship
2.Defend the report on the development of research methodology, approbation and validation of methodology

Description of the organization and tasks of students’ independent work

The independent work on base of subject of the master's thesis student summarized situation analysis, the adopted research methodology and the direction of research

Criteria for Evaluating Learning Outcomes

The final grade of the study course consists of:
1.Independent work - 50%
2.Discussion of collected information - 50%
