Course abstract

Wood processing is closely related to the processing technology. There must be familiar with wood and wood-based materials to use and the most appropriate technology for the wood processing. Modern trends show that the effective use of wood in the near and distant future will be one of the most important factors that influence careful use of resources and provide economic benefit.

Learning outcomes and their assessment

• Knowledge of wood materials and products, as well as manufacturing technology.
• Skills can be use for wood materials and product development using the acquired knowledge of wood-based materials and technologies.
• Competence to gain the knowledge and skills base to develop new, new-age technologies, expanding the use of wood.
