Course abstract

The study subject introduces with the term of landscape, the basics of landscape design and landscaping of afforestation, clear cuts, forest edge, recreation places and routes in forest landscape.

Learning outcomes and their assessment

Knowledge: to recognize and use the elements of landscaping, to describe current landscape, to define the goals of afforestation and routes. Skills: to use the methods of landscaping in the planning of afforestation, forest edge, recreation places and routes; to analyse and use the available information. Competences: to choose the appropriate solutions for afforestation and forest edge's design, to plan the routes and giving information in dependence on interest groups.
