Course abstract

The objective of study course is to give students knowledge in history of development of technical measuring, classification and characteristic of measuring methods as well as measuring instruments, their classification and usage. Students obtain skills in metrological parameters of measuring instruments, measuring errors and the possibilities to eliminate them, basics of measuring instrument choice.

Learning outcomes and their assessment

Knowledge: about meaning of interactive convertibility in engineering science and basic general conceptions and definitions of it according to international standards.
Skills: to use acquired knowledge in execution of composed drawings and details.
Competence: to avail acquired knowledge and skills in creation, designing and manufacturing in anyone machine designing branch.
