Course abstract

Composition and Colour Studies includes the possibilitie of varieties in the rhythm of lines, size, form and materials. Studing the basic compositional principles, perception of form, different materials and possibilities of construction, modelling and visual element composing in environment and space.

Learning outcomes and their assessment

• Knowledge: obtained theoretical knowledge and understanding of the basic principles and concepts of composition and their use: black-white, graphic, op-art composition; relief, size, to portray form and silhouette, interrelationships.
• Skills: developed creative and independent skills of work of graphic, lines, black-white and shape variations and expressions of the plane and volume. Implemented independently done creative and practical works (sketches, work sheets, wall charts, three-dimensional objects, etc.).
• Competence: able to independently use the knowledge and skills for the development and use of practical works such as teaching materials and visual aids, able to think and act creatively and independently in working out composition works, analyze and evaluate the quality of work and argued to judge, to hear and evaluate each other and respect each opinion, able to use ICT knowledge and skills making composition works and presentations.
