Course abstract

The aim of the study course is to present the peculiarities of poultry farming mechanization, including technological solutions of poultry rearing, cage battery constructions, feed distribution, water supply and manure removal mechanization, collecting of eggs, processing and packing.

Learning outcomes and their assessment

• Knowledge - on technical and technological solutions of poultry farming mechanization for production of eggs and fattened birds.
• Skills – to plan and design technological lines on poultry farms, to choose the most suitable technological equipment.
• Competence – to acquire knowledge and skills that are necessary for an engineer working at modernization and technical development of poultry farming processes.
