State policy for support of production of food stock, prospects of the branch development. Technological processes of production and primary processing of the most important kinds of plant breeding products – grain, potatoes, oil plants and culmiferous plants, vegetables, fruits and berries, vulnerary plants. Storage technologies, quality assessment methods and quality indicators of every kind of products. Specificity of cultivated plant growing in closed areas. Plant watering systems and equipment. Application of plant fertilizers and plant protection means in open and closed areas.
The results of studies (knowledge, skills, competences): Knowledge on production technologies of the most important kinds of plant products (grain, potatoes, oil plants, berries, vegetables) and possibilities of ensuring the necessary quality of food production raw materials.
Skills – able to apply the acquired knowledge in processing of plant breeding origin raw materials for food production knowing the physical-mechanical, biological and chemical qualities of every definite raw material. Can elaborate and develop technological processing processes.
Competences – knowledge and skills are acquired that are necessary for the manager of a food production enterprise managing and planning the long-term strategic development of the enterprise considering the development perspectives of the branch.
