Course abstract

Importance of landscaping in ecosystem. Structure of landscaping: natural and artificially created elements of landscaping. Landscaping in country, villages, cities and industrial centres. Students acquire knowledge in use of ornamental plants in landscape, morphological, biological and economical reasons of ornamental plant use in landscape design.

Learning outcomes and their assessment

After completing the course student will have:
• knowledge about landscape plant use of the ornamental, aesthetic and financial principles.
• skills analyze, investigate and apply ornamental plants in landscape projects;
• competence of planning ornamental plans in landscape designs considering theoretical and practical aspects.
