Course abstract

Students acquire knowledge on durability, stiffness and stability of materials for calculation of building structure and components of machines, develop engineering perception, supporting on the theory they to put into practice the substantiation of optimal structural design of construction and machines.

Learning outcomes and their assessment

Knowledge - ability to perform in sufficient quantity engineering calculation strength and deformations of construction.
Skills - to use the methods and modes for the calculation of construction strength, stability and deformations.
Competence - to be able to solve technical problems and perform independent calculation and construction work.
